If you are looking for a place to stay in this area – stop now! Auchgoyle Cottage is totally perfect. We’ve stayed in lots of cottages in Scotland and seldom seen anywhere so thoughtfully provided for; it has everything you need and then some. Rather than a bare “rental property”, it has the feel of a real home, with lots of lovely decorative touches and art around the place. We stayed in December when the weather was bitterly cold but the cottage was cosy, even in the conservatory at the back. The living room is really comfy, as is the bedroom, and there are lovely views straight out onto Loch Fyne. WiFi and all other facilities were great. The location is ideal, and the cottage is easy to find. Inverary is close by and there are some gentle walks a short drive away which suited the short winter days (e.g. Leacainn walk from Furnace). The hosts were lovely, very kind and communicative, and did everything to make sure we had a nice time. I would would be happy to stay again.
